MOT Extension Period Has Now Ended

  • 1 Feb 2021

Between 30th March 2020 and 31st July 2020, MOT expiry dates were extended by 6 months.

On 31st January, it will have been 6 months since the final extension date. This means it is no longer applicable and you must get an MOT on your vehicle when it's due or you're at risk of being fined up to £1000.

Please note that MOT stations and garages are able to stay open under the current lockdown restrictions.
